We drove Falcon from Belton to Bethany, MO on Jan. 30, 2026, as part of a transport that day.

You might think that because we live in Kansas City, MO, and because KCMO is a big city, the legs or segments of the transports we drive would start in KCMO. Not true.

We’ll drive quite a distance to start our leg and basically drive past KCMO to get to the end of our leg, thus this day’s Belton to Bethany drive.

Because we have driven to Belton and Bethany before with several transport coordinators before, there are established places for meetings between drivers for handing off animals and any paperwork to the next drivers.

Common locations are convenience stores — Caseys or QuikTrips — are favorite choices. They’re safe, well lighted and have places for both humans and animals to safely have potty breaks! Plus you can grab a quick coffee and sandwich before returning to the road.
